Island echos UK concerns over neighbourhood policing

As concerns mount in the UK that ity could lose neighbourhood policing, chief constable Gary Roberts says the same risk remains here.
The Island was first to trial neighbourhood policing, establishing a successful model that has brought about significant crime reduction figures over the last decade.
It comes at a cost however, and in light of cut backs may no longer continue to be sustainable.
