Mountain Road closed due to snow

The first snow of the winter has forced the closure of the Mountain Road this morning.
The heavy snow coupled with reports of stuck vehicles meant the road would have to be closed, this decision will be assessed once the snow stops.
There is also heavy snow hitting much of the coast road; although it has been gritted the Maughold area particulary is said to be particulary slippy.
