Inquest into death of Southern 100 racer

The inquest into the death of a motorcycle racer who died in the Southern 100 earlier this year will reconvene today.

David Dukes was killed in a practice session in July on the approach to the Ballakeighan Corner on the Billown Circuit.

The 46-year-old Douglas man was a charge nurse who worked in intensive care at Noble’s Hospital.

Coroner of Inquests John Needham will restart proceedings at Douglas Courthouse.
