Government saving on property sales

Government continues to make savings as it sells off buildings and office space no longer in use.

This revenue generating initiative was devised as a way of helping government in a huge undertaking to rebalance the books.

In recent years annual rental spend has reduced by over £700,000 - this figure is expected to double by 2018.

Chief Minister Allan Bell says the money generated by selling surplus property has so far surpassed expectations:
