World Tin Bath Races start today

The annual World Tin Bath Championships will take place in Castletown today (Saturday).
The event started in 1971 and attracts thousands of people each year.
As well as the traditional bath races there will also be snake races and entertainment displays.
Road closures will be in place around the Middle Harbour area while the action takes place between 1.30-5.30pm.
