Eleven spectators have been hurt in a crash during the Senior TT.

The race was red-flagged less than 10 minutes after the first bikes had left the line.

The crash at Bray Hill in Douglas involved bike number 68 ridden by newcomer Jonathan Howarth, who escaped unharmed.

Reports from the scene suggest his bike hit scaffolding which is used as a viewing grandstand.

One spectator has been seriously hurt but their injuries aren't believed to be life-threatening.

The injured people have been transferred to hospital.
