Painstaking inquiries continue into fatal car fire

Police are carrying out ‘painstaking’ inquiries to determine the identity of a person found dead in a car at the Point of Ayre.
The body was found in a blazing car on the Cranstal Road in Bride last week.
Police say they don’t believe the incident was suspicious but due to its nature they are not yet in a position to make a formal identification.
Inspector Derek Flint says there is still lots of forensic work to do:
