Island's power finally restored

The Isle of Man’s power has been fully restored.

Manx Electricity Authority engineers have been battling the elements since Friday trying to reconnect supplies.

Hundreds of customers lost power – predominantly in the west – as the worst snow in 50 years hit the Island.

MEA chief executive Phil King says despite the disruption the network did prove resilient:
