Woman airlifted to Nobles

An elderly lady has been airlifted to Nobles Hospital after rescue crews attended her property which was cut off by snow.
The rescue team were called to a nearby property at Cronk-y-Voddy to rescue another adult and child when the call came in to go over to Staarvey.
The rescue was carried out by the IOM Fire Service and members of the Peel Coastguard who walked to the scene through deep snowdrifts. The Coastguard Team then rescured the adult and child who are said to be fine.
