Gareth Cowin to be laid to rest today

The funeral of Manx athlete Gareth Cowin will take place today.

The 25 year old died in South Korea two weeks ago whilst competing at the Special Olympic Winter Games.

Gareth’s funeral will be at St Mary’s Church in Douglas, with burial at Braddan Cemetery.

Those attending are asked to wear bright clothes and football tops.

After the funeral there will be a celebration of his life at the Douglas Old Friends Club.
