No immediate plans for Treasury to replace Bill Henderson

The Treasury Minister has said there will be no immediate action to fill the gap in his department left by the sacking of Bill Henderson.

The Douglas North MHK was removed last week due to what Minister Teare has described as serious trust issues.

Mr Henderson has said it was his refusal to tow the line on tuition fees that led to his dismissal.

Mr Teare said there is too much facing the department currently to divert their attentions to replacements:
