NSC pitch to become TT campsite?

Could TT campers be pitching up at the National Sports Centre?
The answer could be yes if planning permission is granted.
A planning application has been submitted for the creation of a temporary camping area within the existing sports track at the NSC on Groves Road in Douglas.
It would be for a seven day period during TT week.
The application was submitted on December 3rd and is currently pending consideration.
The Department of Community, Culture and Leisure says it isn’t in a position to release more information at this time but that the site is being looked at for contingency purposes.
