Future of Bushy's beer tent in doubt?

One of the key landmark sites of the TT festival is in jeopardy after the Douglas Borough Council has put it out to tender.
The Bushy’s beer tent has been a staple of the festivities for the past 15 years, located in the bottleneck car park next to the sea terminal.
It’s believed the council make a loss each year from having the prime parking site closed off to vehicles, with this in mind they have said they want to ensure rate-payers are getting value for money.
Councillor Ritchie McNicholl has said they need to get best price they can for the prime spot:
