A ballot count on the contentious plans to change the terms and conditions of bus drivers has been delayed today.

Unite the Union and DCCL have agreed that counting of the bus driver’s ballot can be delayed until Monday of next week to ensure the process can be completed fairly.

Last week the drivers rejected changes including the end of paid lunch breaks.

Government believes the move could save up to £300,000.
