Literature festival fast approaching

With just two weeks to go until the Island’s first literature festival the team behind the event are urging people to support it.
Manx Litfest will start on Thursday, September 27 and will run for four days celebrating bestselling authors and poets from around the British Isles.
An information event is being held at the Strand Centre today (Saturday) where there will be an opportunity to find out more and buy tickets.
Festival director John Quirk says the support of the public is vital in making the event a success (audio below):
