Local racer's funeral to take place today

Steve Osborne was killed in a qualifying session
The funeral of a local rider who was killed in this year’s Manx Grand Prix will take place this afternoon.
Steve Osborne died following an incident at Alexander Drive in Douglas during a qualifying session on August 24th.
Following his death Manx Motor Cycle Club chairman Harvey Garton described him as one of the greatest characters around the paddock and a great loss to the sport.
His funeral will take place at 2pm at St Ninian’s Church and will be followed by a private, family only service at the crematorium.
Donations in lieu of flowers will be gifted to St John Ambulance in Steve’s memory.
