Mixed reports from local businesses about summer tourist season

The Head of Tourism has said she’s had very mixed reports from local businesses as to how they’ve fared this summer season.
Angela Byrne has said anecdotally she’s heard some industries flourished over the summer, whilst some stagnated.
With official figures yet to be released it is hoped they will match last year’s numbers of 295,000 visitors.
She outlined her approach to ensuring continued growth in the sector:
