There will be significant disruption on the roads in Port St Mary next week.

From Monday there will be a daily road closure from 9am till 4pm on Station Road from the junction of Plantation Road/Beach Road to Four Roads Roundabout.

A diversion will be in place along Castletown Road via Shore Road in Gansey.

The work is to improve the road surface, which includes replacing the worn-out manhole covers.

A pedestrian refuge at the junction with Castletown and Shore roads has been removed to accommodate buses which will divert along this route.

This will be re-instated after the works are complete.

The work will finish next Friday.
