Businesses recognised for saving energy

The Snug won the Best Practice in Business award
Local businesses and a number of government departments have been recognised for their achievements in helping to save energy.
The Departments of Social Care and Health were among local businesses including The Snug and Marks and Spencer, which won an Expo Award.
Now in their fourth year the awards recognise the achievements of businesses and organisations that reduce their energy consumption and improve their efficiency.
Laurence Skelly, who has political responsibility for energy, said participating businesses, should be applauded as the Island stands to benefit from their hard work:
