Ten firefighters from the Isle of Man set a new Guinness Book of Records this weekend by taking part in a 24 hour ladder challenge.
The local officers climbed up a specially erected platform in Douglas a staggering 11,417 times to smash the current world best of over 109 kilometres.
As well as trying to beat the current record which was set in 2005 by a group of New Zealand fire fighters the men were also raising money for a number of local charities.
