Garden Party festival looks set to go ahead today

The first day of this year’s Garden Party festival was abandoned yesterday due to bad weather.
Organisers were forced to cancel the event half way through the first day after heavy rain and high winds.
The weather meant there were serious safety issues for the performers on the main stage and fans in the main field.
The weather is set to improve considerably today and all music fans who had tickets for yesterday have now been invited to attend today’s event for free.
Organiser Conrad Roberts has said they won’t let fans down:
