Island's tourist industry is doing well says new boss

The Island’s newly appointed Head of Tourism has been speaking to ENERGY FM about the state of the Isle of Man’s tourist industry.
Angela Byrne, who has 20 years experience in the industry, has said that target marketing, a TV advertising campaign and high profile features on TV shows have helped the Island weather the storm.
The most recent feature on ITV’s Countrywise was watched by over 4 million people – and this Sunday’s Manx episode of Countryfile is also expected to rate well.
Angela said the Island is leading by example:
