"Stop means stop" warning for motorists

“Stop means stop”.
That’s the message being instilled into motorists who are advised to take extra care around the Island’s schools.
The Department of Infrastructure’s road safety team is re-running an awareness campaign after a number of incidents at this time last year.
Motorists who fail to stop when directed to do so by a school crossing patrol officer will be reported to the police.
