A law which aims to clamp down on unmanned sunbed salons is to get its second reading in the House of Keys today.
The Sunbed Bill is being brought to the House by East Douglas MHK Brenda Cannell.
If the law is passed it would mean that the Island’s coin- operated sunbed studios would have to have a supervisor on site.
It also aims to make sure people under the age of 18 can’t use sunbeds and there would be hefty fines for operators who break the law.
