For the moment at least, the rain seems to have let up for the start of this year's Parish Walk.
Over 1,800 people have signed up for today's event.
Although weather conditions are an improvement on yesterday, the rain is due to make a return.
Those who carry on the walk into the afternoon and evening will see it becoming heavier and more persistent as the day goes on - according to the Met Office at Ronaldsway.
Meanwhile, there's a warning for motorists as the roads around the Parish Walk route are expected to becoming busy and congested with support vehicles for the walkers.
Inspector Derek Flint asks people using the Island's roads to plan ahead today.[play media file below]
