Peter Karran has said education was used as a “political football” during his time as a government minister.
The Liberal Vannin Leader spoke to ENERGY FM News following his sacking from the Council of Ministers on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Allan Bell stripped Mr Karran of his position after he voted against the Council’s decision to invest £24 million into the film industry.
Mr Karran, who spent eight months as Education and Children Minister, said investment in the department had to continue:
