Rutter wins TT Zero... and bags a £10,000 bonus

Michael Rutter has claimed the £10,000 bounty that had been placed on the first 100mph lap in the TT Zero race.

The UK rider won the electric bikes event this afternoon with an average lap speed of 104mph.

He wasn’t the only competitor to smash the barrier though, with second place John McGuinness and third place Mark Miller also lapping at over 100mph
