Fire crews called to fuel storage facility

Fire crews from three stations were scrambled after an alarm sounded at Manx Petroleums.
They were called out to the Battery Pier yesterday afternoon.
It turned out to be a false alarm caused by a faulty flame detector.
Crews liased with engineers on site to confirm the cause of the alarm activation before they stood down.
