Heysham sailing could be affected by UK fog warning

There’s a chance this evening’s sailing to Heysham could be affected by a fog warning for the North English Coast.
The Ben My Chree is due to leave Douglas as scheduled at 19.45.
However, port authorities in Heysham could decide it’s not safe for the ferry to berth if the fog is too thick.
If this is the case, the Steam Packet says the boat could be forced to wait outside Heysham Port for conditions to improve or she could be sent back to Douglas.
