Shock and surprise over Rebecca House donation request

The Chief Executive of Hospice Isle of Man, Margaret Simpson, has been speaking about her shock and surprise after learning that the charity may benefit following the death of Robin Gibb.
Yesterday a post on the Bee Gee star’s official Facebook page from his wife Dwina asked fans to send donations to Rebecca House Hospice instead of sending flowers.
It’s impossible to estimate how much it will generate for the charity but it is expected to be substantial given Robin’s huge worldwide fanbase.
The news has already started to boost the charity’s profile massively, as we found out when we spoke to Mrs Simpson:
