Job losses are likely at Manx Gas as the company undergoes restructuring.
Up to 15 positions could go as the firm tries to improve its efficiency.
Commercial Director John Davies says the company is working closely with staff in an effort to keep them regularly updated on the developments.
A further statement will be issued once consultations with the workforce are complete.
