Drugs accused remanded in custody

A Peel man has appeared in court accused of possessing drugs with intent to supply.
Steven Barlow was arrested after police uncovered Class A drugs at an address in the town yesterday.
The substance involved is thought to be cocaine.
A small amount of a Class C drug was also found.
No pleas were taken when the defendant appeared before magistrates earlier and the case was adjourned until next Wednesday.
The 29 year old was remanded in custody.
