Homes left without power following lightning

Lightning caused a power cut in central parts of the Island in the early hours of this morning.
The Manx Electricity Authority says supplies were affected shortly after 2.00am.
Power at Braaid, St Marks, Ellerslie, Trollaby and Glen Vine were restored within a couple of hours, whilst Crosby and Braddan had electricity back by 6.00am.
