Manx Classic gets underway with Governor's Sprint

The Manx Classic Sprint and Hill climb is underway.

The 3 day event sees cars from 1921 to present day taking part.

Today's action is a sprint starting at the Grandstand and finishing near the Nook on the Mountain Road.

The Governor's sprint continues until 3.00pm, with a second stage from 6.00 until 9.00 this evening.

Tomorrow is the first of the hill climbs on the Sloc, whilst Saturday is the Lhergy Frissell climb on the Mountain Road
