It will be decided today what will become of a haul of 60 silver coins unearthed by a local metal detectorist.
Two treasure trove inquests are to be held at Douglas Courthouse this afternoon.
The other find was a piece of Viking silver, discovered by another metal detectorist.
By law, someone who uncovers items believed to be treasure has to report the find to the Coroner.
An inquiry is then held to determine whether the objects should belong to the Crown, or whether the finder has the right to keep them.
