Large oil theft at Billown Quarry

Police are investigating following a large oil theft at Billown Quarry.
The fuel was taken over the weekend beginning on March 9th.
Due to the quantity of oil taken, officers say they expect a large vehicle or several smaller vehicles will have been needed in the theft.
The type of oil taken is designed for commercial boilers and could cause damage if used in a household heating system.
Anyone who has information on this theft is asked to contact Castletown Police Station.
