Ramsey Businessman to stand for Commissioners

A Ramsey businessman will stand in the local authority elections next month.
Stephen Rand is standing for Ramsey Town Commissioners when all 24 local Government boards go to the polls on April 26th.
He and his wife moved to the Island in 1997, and now run two shops in Ramsey.
Mr Rand was previously the Vice Chairman of Lynford Parish Meeting, and says he now wants to give something back to the community which he now calls his home.
