Police name man who died in prison

Michael Davidson

The prisoner found dead at the Isle of Man Prison has been named by police.

He was 26 year old Michael Joseph Davidson.

His body was discovered in his cell yesterday morning.

Police are carrying out enquiries for the Coroner, which is normal practice when people die in prison.

A postmortem is due to be carried by a Home Office Pathologist tomorrow.
