Liberal Vannin announces Hills Ward candidate

The Liberal Vannin Party is putting forward a candidate for the Hills Ward of Douglas Council in the upcoming local authority elections.

Kevin Oliphant-Smith works in the retail sector.

He has previously worked in the care industry, and is also a hospital volunteer.

He says he'd like to see a community centre established in the area, better street cleaning and a reduction in anti-social behaviour.

Elections for all local government boards on the Island take place next month.
