Man verbally abusive towards Co-op staff

Police are investigating after a man was verbally abusive to staff in a shop in Douglas.

The incident happened in the Co-Op on Duke Street at around 2.30 last Thursday afternoon.

The man was around 6 foot tall, of medium build, unshaven, and was wearing blue jeans, a blue jacket and a black woollen beanie hat.

There were a number of customers in the store at the time of the incident.

Anyone who can help police identify the man is asked to contact Police Headquarters.
