The Chief Minister is to be asked for more information about the recent British Irish Council meeting.
Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan will ask Allan Bell to make a statement on the meeting in this month's sitting of Tynwald.
He also wants it to become routine that such a statement is made in the sitting following a BIC summit.
The meetings are held twice a year for the Governments of the British Isles to discuss matters of mutual concern.
The last meeting was held in Dublin last month.
