Power restored to Laxey properties

55 properties in Laxey were without power for around 5 hours this morning.
A tree came down at around 5.00am, bringing electricity lines down with it.
As a result, a section of the Coast Road through Laxey had to be closed for around 3 hours, whilst the Department of Infrastructure helped remove the tree and the Manx Electricity Authority worked to repair the cables.
MEA engineers restored power to the properties affected just before 10.00 this morning.
