The Isle of Man Police are using their Facebook page to urge the public to be on the look out for thieves.

Officers say there's been a series of oil and metal thefts recently.

Reports in the UK say the rise such goods being stolen is partly down to the global recession.

Anyone who spots anything suspicious is urged to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
