Service to be held to remember holocaust

A service to remember the victims of holocaust is to be held on the Island tomorrow.

The Holocaust Memorial Day will be recognised in a service at Trinity Methodist Church in Douglas.

The occasion is marked every year on the Island on the Sunday nearest to January 27th. 

One of the organisers, Ramsey MHK Leonard Singer, says it's particularly important that young people to learn from the holocaust [play clip] 

The service gets underway from 3.00pm, with those attending asked to be in their seats by 2.45pm
