Douglas Council rates to be set on Friday

Douglas Council will set its rates for the coming year on Friday.
Leader David Christian will present his annual report and budget speech.
Mr Christian says the council's strategy has been determined by global economic uncertainty, government cuts and rising fuel and energy costs.
The rates meeting will be held in public at Douglas Town Hall from 10.30am.
