Road tax on the Isle of Man is to go up by 6%.
Politicians approved the move in this month's sitting of Tynwald.
As well as increasing revenue for the Department of Infrastructure, it aims to fix an anomaly in emission-based vehicle duty introduced in 2010.
Minister David Cretney says all of the money will be used to improve the roads.[play media file below]
