A fisherman is in hospital after losing his thumb in an accident at sea this morning.
Lifeboat crews and paramedics were called to Ramsey harbour just before 10.00am.
Due to the fisherman's injuries and the weather conditions, the lifeboat had to bring the man back to shore.
Paramedics assessed and stabilised the man, who had severed his thumb whilst working with fishing gear, before taking him to Noble's hospital.
