The Isle of Man Police are highlighting the warning signs of domestic abuse.

Officers say there are a number of common signs.

These include the abuser isolating their victims from friends and family, being jealous and controlling what their victim does.

Statistics show 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men will be affected by domestic abuse in the lives.
