Douglas Council says it hopes problems with barriers into the town's car parks will be fixed soon.
The new barriers were brought in last year, but have had teething problems.
Those at the Bottle Neck had issues reading the magnetic strip on tickets, meaning some cars were allowed to exit the car park without paying.
The barriers at the Bowl are currently out of action as parts have been taken form them to repair others elsewhere in Douglas.
There have also had problems with damp getting into the machinery.
Revenue from car parks is below expectations, despite them being almost at capacity.
The suppliers are looking into the problems.
