MHK to close Strand Street businesses

A long established local business on Strand Street in Douglas is to close.
Moochers Market, which is owned by MHK David Cretney, won't renew its lease in 12 months time.
Mr Cretney also plans to close his other business Supercards, which is also in Strand Street, in nearly two years time when that lease is up.
The politician says there are a range of reasons for his decision and it seems like the right time to call it a day.
